Terms & Conditions, The Cloud Table

When you shop with us at The Cloud Table – Sten Åkerblom AB – you agree to our terms of purchase. Therefore, it is important that you read through this entire text before making your purchase.

Your rights – Application and consumer protection

The general terms and conditions apply to the purchase agreement that you, as a consumer, enter into with Sten Åkerblom AB, a legal entity incorporated in Sweden with company registration number 559016-5675. In order to utilize your interests as a customer, the provisions of the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (SFS 1990: 932), Act (2005: 59) on distance contracts and agreements outside business premises and the Personal Data Act (SFS 1998: 204), are applied to all purchases on www.molnbordet.se and www.thecloudtable.com. In the event of a dispute between Sten Åkerblom AB and you as a customer, the recommendations of the Swedish General Complaints Board (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden, ARN) are followed.

General Conditions

Completed order means you accept our terms of purchase. Purchase agreements are only made when The Cloud Table – Sten Åkerblom AB – confirms the order by sending an order confirmation to the e-mail address you specified. To order an item, you must be 18 years or older.

We reserve the right for any differences in color, texture or minor changes in design and do not guarantee that the exact appearance and nature of the goods will be reproduced in pictures or in text via this website.

Prices

Prices at our website www.molnbordet.se are stated in Swedish kronor and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT). Prices at our website www.thecloudtable.com, for international purchases are stated in Euro and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping cost will be added, depending on the final destination as well as what shipping option is used.

We reserve the right to change prices for all products in our range and to correct incorrect pricing afterwards. We reserve the right for price adjustments, final sales, technical problems, changes to technical specifications on our web site or in our advertisements. We reserve the right to cancel erroneous orders.
Please bear in mind that all items ordered from our Online Shop are shipped from Sweden. This means that if you live outside the European Union or on Åland Island, you will not be charged for VAT under Swedish laws, but you can, and probably will, be charged for tax, duty, import, brokerage fees and/or other additional fees (“Additional Fees”) upon receiving the package.

Note that you, as a customer, are responsible for payment of the Additional Fees. The Cloud Table and Sten Åkerblom AB will not compensate you for the Additional Fees that may be added to deliveris outside of EU. The Cloud Table and Sten Åkerblom AB is unable to calculate the exact amount of Additional Fees, since these Additional Fees are imposed directly by your local customs. Please note that The Cloud Table and Sten Åkerblom AB doesn’t take any part of these Additional Fees as they are out of our control.

We recommend that you contact your local customs office before placing your order, for further information on current Additional Fees. UPS will invoice you for these Additional Fees upon delivery of your order, through cash, check or invoice, and needs to be paid in for you to be entitled to collect the package.

Payment

When placing an order on our website you can choose to pay by card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express) or invoice. In case of invoice, partial payment applies (50% partial payment before delivery and 50% partial payment no later than 14 days after receipt of goods). For overseas purchases via invoice, full payment (100%) applies before delivery.

When you order via our customer service by phone or e-mail and the order is placed manually outside the website, you can choose to pay by invoice or, if you are located in Sweden, payment to our Bankgiro 274-1452. For IBAN number and BIC/SWIFT see Customer support information below. Note: Always enter your order number as the reference number for bank transfer.

Upon payment, you agree to our terms of purchase and agree to register names and personal or organizational numbers as well as contact details (telephone number and email address) in our customer register.

Order Confirmation

When you have ordered your goods, an order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when purchasing, confirming that we have received your order. The order confirmation is your proof of purchase and may need to be shown at delivery of your goods or in case of any complaint.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery is done with our partner DHL. As soon as your goods have arrived at our warehouse and are ready to be delivered, you will be contacted by our customer service who makes an appointment for delivery. You will also get a tracking number. Shipping costs are placed on top of the order value and may vary depending on final destination. An agreement on the cost of shipping and receiving address is made via our webshop for payment by card, as well as via e-mail in connection with the order for payment by invoice. The goods can also be picked up in our warehouse in Enskede, Stockholm, by arrangement.

Delivery time

All our coffee tables are made to order. Production time is normally 5 – 8 weeks, plus time for transport. We reserve ourselves for any delays in production from our subcontractors. Summer and holidays can affect delivery time.

Mounting

When picking up in Enskede, Stockholm, the tables are pre-assembled. When shipped with DHL, the table top and the legs are normally delivered in separate parcel. The legs are mounted by the buyer with the supplied tool and screws. The buyer is responsible for the correct installation.

Unsolved package and receipt of delivery

You as a customer are responsible for ensuring that there is a recipient who can confirm the delivery at the agreed delivery time. If you are not in place to receive the delivery, it may incur costs for which we reserve the right to charge you.

Transport damage

When you receive your delivery, it is up to you as a customer to check if the package is damaged before you sign the delivery note. If the package is damaged, this must be noted directly on the delivery note. Document the damage in the picture and text and send us an email within 24 hours of receiving the item. If this has been done, The Cloud Table – Sten Åkerblom AB – is responsible for any damage that has occurred during transport or delivery to you as a customer.

If you have received a product that proves to be defective or incorrect in some way, you can return it completely free of charge, after you have notified us. Complaints should be made as soon as possible from the receipt of your goods and / or the fault is detected. Please note that this does not apply in case of wear and tear, careless handling of the goods, if care advice is not followed and if the damage occurred during the shipment and this is not notified to us within 24 hours of the delivery. When the defective item has been delivered to us, we will send out a new one, or refund the total amount. The repayment is made via the same payment option that was used at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Returns must be made with traceable packages, for your safety. Return Policy

All tables are produced to order, which means that the product is specially ordered. The order is binding. “Ordering goods” are products that by definition are ordered from a supplier and then produced specifically for you as a customer, according to Swedish Law (2005: 59).

Complaint

If you have received a product that proves to be defective or incorrect, you can return it free of charge, see item Transport damage above.

Force Majeure

The Cloud Table – Sten Åkerblom AB – does not accept responsibility for delays as a result of extraordinary events or circumstances that are beyond our control and which we could not reasonably foresee or overcome without financial losses. This includes, among other things, natural disasters, strikes, wars, riots, blockades, public authority intervention, fires, explosions, boycotts and other force majeure-like circumstances that affect delays at suppliers and / or delivery.

Privacy Policy

We are responsible for the personal data provided in connection with being handled in the purchase and paying with the Swedish Personal Data Act (PuL). By approving the purchase agreement with us, you consent to your data being saved.
